Margaret Hill, Managing Member
Margaret began her insurance career in 1979. Along with her husband and son, she formed Manakin Insurance Center in 2003. They helped create HH&B, LLC in 2007. They have and been instrumental in the development and progress and success of HH&B, LLC.
Margaret with other members of the LLC, Beth Carlisle and Liza Hill, purchased the interests of all other members in 2010. Along with her duties as managing member of the LLC, she is the financial administrative officer and involved in the day to day activities of the business.
Liza Hill
Liza Hill is a graduate of Randolph Macon College and University of Richmond School of Law. She began work in the insurance field when she became licensed in Life & Health in 2001. She has worked as a mediator for a Fortune 500 insurance company from 2002 through 2006. She has experience as an insurance trainer and has served as counsel for HH&B since 2007.
Liza is a principle at River City Law Practice and is the owner of Mosaic Mediation. She is married to Greg Hill and has an 8 year daughter and a 3 year old son.
Beth Carlisle
Beth started with Manakin Insurance Center LLC when it was formed in 2004 as a member and Chief Administrator for Manakin Insurance Center. Licensed in both Life & Health and Property & Casualty her duties included working closely with our clients and the insurance companies that Manakin is appointed with. HH&B Insurance LLC was formed in 2007 and she has been there from the beginning to help guide and support the new agency. As a member of HH&B Insurance LLC Beth is dedicated to give quality and great service to all of our clients and agents.
Nick Mastry – Vice President/Director of Marketing Operations
Nick began his insurance career in 1969 as a Commercial Lines Underwriter with General Accident Insurance Company. After several years in various underwriting and marketing positions, he was named Vice President of Commercial Lines Underwriting for a regional carrier in Upstate New York. He was also in charge of new product development.
In 1986, Nick assumed the position of President and Chief Operating Officer of Home Mutual Insurance Company in Binghamton, New York, a position he held until July, 1997. At that time Home Mutual was acquired by Newark Insurance Company, and Nick was named Senior Vice President of Marketing. Nick had 5 Marketing Representatives under his direction and was responsible for developing and training over 500 agencies throughout the State of New York.
In 2001, Nick was named Regional Vice President for Donegal Insurance Group, responsible for the States of New York and Connecticut. In July of 2003, Nick was transferred to Roanoke, VA. and remained with Donegal until he retired in December, 2008.
In February 2009, Nick was named Vice President and Director of Marketing Operations for HH&B Insurance. His responsibilities include assisting HH&B producers in marketing commercial accounts, reviewing Agency/Company Agreements and various Profit Sharing Agreements, assisting in evaluating and acquiring new markets, and acting as the contact person for all Company representatives.
Tish Howard – Office Administrator in charge of Agent Communication
Tish provides support and correspondence between the Agent and Customer. She also assists in administration and communications in the day to day operation of the Agency.
